About

My own journey has been a marvelous expedition originating in a farm in Iowa and includes paths through the corporate world as a food chemist, the academic world as teacher, and in the non-profit arena as therapist and executive director. I am a daughter, wife and mother of four children. Currently our family enjoys life in our home in Dubuque, Iowa which is on the banks of the Mississippi River. One of my passion is experiencing the wondrous diversity of life on this planet through traveling and living abroad in the course of this journey.

Professionally, I have earned a doctorate in Counseling and Human Development, am licensed as a Marital and Family Therapist. Six years ago, I transitioned from therapy and helping people cope with issues of their past to life coaching which focuses on—the journey, where you are now to where you want to be. I received life coach training from the Institute of Life Coach Training, and am a certified Life Coach through the Life Purpose Institute, www.lifepurposeinstitute.com. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation.
